Okay guys. Since everybody else is posting up their new rides they have coming in the mail, I figure I'll post up mine. I got this to run in the 1/18 touring class at Action R/C Raceway. I had originally planned to run a Micro RS4, but the deal fell through, and after looking into these, and finding the deal I got on this, I'm glad it did. I haven't yet decided if I'll run this in the stock class or the open class. Turnouts over the next few weeks will play a big part in my decision. For the first few weeks though it will be run in the stock class. I am waiting on everything to arrive yet, but the setup will be the car as you see it along with a stock XRay motor, an AE XPS ESC, HPI Pro firm front tires, HPI Pro soft rear tires, and an IB 1400 6 cell battery. For the time being I will run this body, but I'm currently shopping around for more bodies, and I will likely have a few to choose from in the very near future. So here's the pics of the car from the listing. I'll get more when it's in my hands.

Now here's the rundown of the deals I managed to score to put this all together. I think I made out like a bandit, but you guys can let me know what you think.

M18 with servo $60 shipped
XRay motor $4 shipped
XPS ESC $10 shipped
F/R mounted tires $17 shipped

I will use my radio and an AE RX that I have just sitting here in it, so my grand total to have this up and running was $91 including the cost of having everything shipped to my door. Let me know your thoughts. :thumb

Got the car in the mail today. Have done much to it yet, except clean up the body a bit, and put a few stickers on it. This body is kind of beat, but will make a good practice lid. Here's a few pics. Gonna give the chassis a once over in just a little bit.

Well my motor, and tires showed up yesterday, and being tired of waiting on the ESC to arrive I rewired a Recoil unit and installed it so that I could at least run it. I may actually leave it like this because the balance from side to side works out better this way than it will with a 4ch RX on the batt side, and an XPS on the servo. I only got a chance to run it for a minute because it's snowing. The driveway started to get wet, and I didn't want the new foams to soak up a bunch of water. It runs, and drives very well, and honestly is quicker than I was expecting out of this motor. Handling is insanely tight, and it will turn on a dime, so I'm pretty sure it is gonna be incredible on ozite. Here's a few pics of where it's at now.

Thanks man. I'm super excited for it to arrive. I'm hoping the car will be here tomorrow so I can give it a tear down and once over while I watch football on sunday.

Would you believe I saw a bright orange one, real thing, here on the curvy roads of West Virginia? We get a good assortment of vehicles that like to corner fast, mostly sport bikes though. Definity a beautiful car, which would make for a beautiful RC.

It was stuck in traffic, haha. Think a coal truck was up ahead of it. Our roads are fun in the 50-90 mph range but I can't imagine what it's be like driving one of those. Actually I imagine you would ruin your tires on our ate up roads at any kind of real speed.

I know how that goes. Tires don't last long on MI roads either.

Glad my little clown car is about 1/2 lane wide. I can slide over near the yellow line and stay on good pavement, haha. Our roads are almost too narrow for big trucks, and school buses. That's why the very edges always fall away, overloaded coal trucks. Oh well, sorry for diverting your thread.

I really like the NSX's too. Went for a ride in one myself back in the early 90's. Quite the cars. I'm super stoked about getting these. Gonna be sending one of the new ones out for some professional airbrushing. The paintwork will have hyperminis.com, and some true fire incorporated into it. :thumb

Awesome deal there. So if your new color scheme yellow and red, haha? The true flames sound great, green or natural flame color?

Thanks guys. Yeah I was happy to score those bodies for so cheap. Most of those will be just practice lids, so when I rub the boards I won't cringe lol. The true flames will be done in green and in a way that hopefully matches the board logo.
