Yup, 12mm hex and the stubs are 10th scale sized, meaning 4mm wheel nuts so no washers are needed. I have some cheap 3racing touring car wheels and tires I got from Toyz that I run sometimes. The touring car tires are slightly shorter than stock tires. However i get better traction out of the pinspike tires that come stock, I just run rear wide tires all the way around.

For running on the street I would look into getting some foam TC tires. Less rotating mass, and less unsprung weight equals better performance. Nitro foams will oulast any rubber touring tire also, so you get more life for your money.

Thanks max. I need some street wheels as I run 60-70% of the time on the street.

I think i fried the esc on my exceed. It statred when the tx and car had a hard time connecting.Than it would connect , the wheels would spin and than stop. I tried shutting it down and starting again but it did not work. There is no connection between the tx and the car. No response at all. I think i need an esc but i dont want to spend a lot of money on this as i am now running a slash bl and waiting for a vendetta st. I want to buy the steel cvd for the vendetta so i would rather spend my hobby dollars on my quality vehicles. But i would like to get my exceed running again cause it as fun. I checked the sale section on this site and did not see an esc for sale. Can anyone direct me to a inexpensive esc that would work on my truggy. I knew this cheapo would be an educational experience. I may learn a bunch of stuff that i can apply to my other cars.
