Ive been running my slash vxl lately. Ive had it about 2 eeks. It is ungodly fast out of the box. I have spent so much time flipping that the car looks old already. Im loving it . It seems I dont slo don enough when i turn and the thing flips easily. I need to figure out how to stiffen the shocks a little or some adjustment i dont know about yet.The entire design seems to be different than other vehicles maybe due to the shock set up.What a blast. This is the fastest rc car I have ever driven. I love the sound of the brushless as it sreams by me until i tip it during the turn around. Its alays better hen it lands on its heels. When it doesnt I send my daughter on her bike to flip it for me. She trys to race it down the street. I DO let her in sometimes. She could really beat my exceed truggy sometimes but hasnt a chaance against the slash.Did I mention that i love this thing. It keeps me smileing guys.

Sounds great. Yeah it's designed very differently from your Exceed and Detta. Not just the shock design on cantilevers but it has a center transmission also. It really is a scaled down version of the revo/slayer. If I could ever sell anything I would like to get the mini revo. Think you could get some pics of the slash next to your exceed for size comparison, and just cause we love pics around here.

The Revo looks real hard to drive. I am having a hard time with the slash so I cant imagine howI would do with the revo. I picked the slash cause it has fenders and stuff and seemed like a more stable ride. I think I would need more experience for the revo.Im working on my ability to post photos and vids. Im pretty new to this entire cyberspace computer world. I do have a decent camera that takes photos and short vids but I dont know how to use it and I have been way to busy trying to figure out all this rc stuff to take the time to learn. I would love to post stuff but I cant yet. I do have a friend who does all sorts of you tube vids and I will need to have him over for a party session and get him to show me the techical stuff of posting a picture. Than another session for the vids. Ill be doing that soon. Did I mention that I love this slash. The roof looks 20 years old but this thing can take a multi roll over on pavement like a pro. It keeps running. The only complaint I have is that it pulled left on the first run. I adjusted it with the throttle trim so now it goes straight. I need to figure out the adjustment so that i dont need the throttle adjustment. Havent seen it in the manuel yet but the adjustment is probably in there. Its a pretty good manuel with lots of good info.

hopefully adjusting the throttle trim did not affect the steering! and trust me the revo is way easier to drive and much more stable!
