I think the steering is electromagnetic. What does yours do when it quits working?

How ya doin max. These little things are ablast. Like I said the steering fails. Its sort of a slow deterioration as it pretty much stops the tight turn that it usually has. Its like something wears out inthe front end. I started to think maybe the magnets are somehow losing power so they dont pull the steering mechanism. If i could work this out it would be great. But as you know im pretty new to this rc car stuff and my knowledge is laughable. But Thanks to you guys i did finaly get the threaded axles and bearings in. I just had to quit it for a few weeks cause those @#$$#%$# e-clips drove me nuts. I only hope I can gain some knowledge and than share it with a new guy some day. Right now i am pretty useless unless you consider asking a million questions useful. Have a great day max.

I was at Walmart and Toysrus yesterday and found nothing. I don't even know where another Toysrus is in the area, but I'm going to check the other Walmarts.

I had a heck of a time finding them at my TRU. They were not where I expected them to be. Matter of fact had I not walked up and down the aisles about 20 times I would never have seen them. They were not with the other small scale RC's. They were pinched in between a bunch of the larger scale stuff, and they were the only small RC on that entire rack.

I found them at Target as well, so that might be another place to look.

Are all the boxes the same color? I looked all over the boys toys section and nothing. WV is bad about not having stuff though.

Yeah the boxes are the same color, but they'll look a little different because you can see the controller through the front cover, and the controllers match the vehicles.

I cant belive you guys are into these. It is one of the first little rc cars I bought this time around which led me to buy a micro dt which at this point is the BIGGEST waiste of my hard earned funds. I actually had more play time with one of these than the micro. And at least when this thing breaks and of course it will you dont feel so bad about throwing it out. The micro dt costs more and like a moron I keep trying to fix it as it spends most of its time sitting in a box in the corner of my closet like an empty beer can. Than I work on it it runs for asecond or 2 than its back to the work bench. What a pos mine is. These terrain titans are so much fun and you can race them around on the kitchen table. My 6 year old daughter loves it. The reocuring problem ive had with them is that the steering tends to fail. Maybe the magnets stop getting power or something and than it tends to lose alot of steering ability. Im sure one of you guys can figure it out.. My skills seem to be limited to rc helicopters i can break em down and rebuild them like you guys do with theses cars. My skills have not translated well to cars . Ill try a little longer and if the skills dont improve ill get rid of the micro. Its funny cause i bought a used micro-t with a lipo. I dont know what the hell I was thinking. At least that one runs......so far.

Yeah these little buggers are def fun. I haven't experienced any issues yet with my steering, but I'm sure in time I will. When it does happen, I'll be sure to let you know if I find a fix.

Haven't been to town since the day I was at Toysrus. I'm going tomorrow though and can hit 2 walmarts.

Well good luck. I hope you can score one. They're pretty darn cool, and you'll be surprised how fun they are to drive.

Cool, every time I try to get something to run inside on rainy days it grows and gets too big or too fast. No holes in the walls yet though, haha.

Well these are perfect rainy day rides. Fast enough to be fun, and the suspension works good enough that they will actually drive over rugs and bumps and what not.

Yeah these things are real tiny, even compared to the Micro T. I think they are like 1/64th scale or something along those lines.

I found some today at one Walmart but like Wrench I passed. I didn't think they were that small, the whole thing is smaller than a 380 motor. They're $15 here too, I swear WV jacks up the price on everything.

Yeah they were $15 here too, so I'm guessing the $9.99 sale was either over, or not in my area. Still some fun little indoor cruisers either way.
