Here are a couple pics of the new set-up. I had to carve out quite a bit to fit the Maxamp lipo pack I had into the lil thing, but with the help of my trusty dremmel, some velcro and (cough, cough) some duct tape...i got er done.

She is packing a 13.5 Novak Mongoose fed by the 2c MaxAmp LiPo, using 45t spur and a 14t pinion...prolly way to much for my ability, but should be fun!

I hate to sound stupid, but whats with the different conectors? deans for the batteries, whats the mini connectors for nitrous injection? BTW duct tape conducts electricity.

OMG I should build a whole RC using duct tape...it gets more reaction than any other thing I have seen...LMAO

well it seems my trusty duct tape is coming off for conductivity reasons anyway....

and Pepsi it wasn't showing off, heck its nearly just a stocker anyway, it was more just SHOWING and sharing, because I said I would last night when randy was giving me some ideas. I guess to me that is part of the fun, trying new things and sharing the experience with the community...know what I mean?

LOL........hey, that's IT - go ahead and duct tape up the whole body too. That would finish off the theme quite nicely. :dance

no offense, just havin' fun

Ever seen it referred to as 200mph tape? Haha.

Hey fast, is it only the silver duct tape that conducts? I'd never heard of that either, but may be useful to know in the future.

Wolvie, looks nice man. I've always liked orange.

You can always wrap duct tape inside out over the foams for extra traction. Well, at least for the first 2 feet.(Last duct tape joke I swear)

Jamus, I can't speak for other colors of tape, but I can show you a burnt speedo, with duct tape melted into the deans plug! I needed to do some insulating at the track last minute, When my heat was ready to start. I assumed it would work for one heat.......it didn't.

Definitely good to know about. I've seen that reflective stuff come on new RC that looks like the tape used on modern duct work, not the grey stuff we all call duct(duck)tape. Stuff costs too much to repeat destruction if someone else has already experienced it. I try to also share my booboo's just for that reason. Save someone else the same problems.
