This car has a really well done body, but of course it is junk. Doesn't even have a proper steering servo.

But more importantly, the battery charger will melt! This is what it looked like after being plugged in for about 45 minutes. Gotta love the smell of melting plastic.

Too bad the wheels are not removable, they have got imitation tamiya rally block tires.

$20 and I didn't buy it, these are going to be some serious fire hazards this christmas, as many people were buying them at the time.

One more good thing, red LEDs to light up each wheel. LOL

My cousin, who bought it, is thinking about just putting on the shelf as a static model. I think that is probably the best thing that can be done with it, besides reusing the body on something real.

It looks kool. Always liked those body grafix and colors. But a fire hazzard in a BIG No No. I can't belive no one ever tested that thing at the chinese factory where they were made. You could chop the body off and mount her up on a real RC rig and it would be purrty.lol Thanks for the heads u I was looking at a Nikko RC for my godson. He is like 8/9 and I will get him something else now.l8r,w.

No chopping necessary, it has body clips and is made of lexan.

$20 for a painted lexan body isn't bad at all. I don't have anything to use a touring car body on or I'd get one. I'm a horrible painter of bodies.

I paid more for a painted body when I ordered mine last year for the TL01. The next time that I go to my cousin's, I will try to take my TL01 and see if this body fits.
