So i used some x-mas money a year ago to buy this kit... Its probably the best $125 ive spent :D !!!

Some pics of the build:

Pics of it with the original electronics:

The original electronics consisted of:

A JR XR2i Radio sytem $100
A Novak XRS esc $50
A associated super 370 $12
A Hitec HS81mg servo $30
and a matched and zapped 6 cell 1500mah side by side battery (had the punch of a lipo!) $35

All of these electronics were cheap and still good enough to consistently place well at local races

More current pics of the current setup:

Current electronics:

A Spectrum DX3S Radio System (not running the telemetry) $250
A Tekin RS ESC (TOP OF THE LINE!) $175
A Novak 10.5 sensored motor $75
The original hitech servo
the original batts

This setup is way faster and easier to maintain and use.

The Upgrade list:

Xray Aluminum Front Knuckles $32 each side!
Xray Aluminum Driveshafts $30 a pair!
3racing Motor Heatsink W/ Fan $12
Modded BRP Mini-T Bumper $8

Questions and comments are welcome :D

Well after fixing the driveshaft problem with the aluminum ones and adding the aluminum front knuckles to prevent breakage there, it is a very durable truck. The bumper is there mainly for shock protection. $12 shock shafts started getting expensive lol.

Now i only break this think about once every 2 months. It takes a really hard hit to do it though!

The awesome thing about these trucks is their literaly bulletproof drivetrain! I can pull wheelies all day long and not have to worry about a thing!

Next thing for this truck is the bluegroove buggy conversion!

I like the way they did the suspension, instead of using hingepins. Nice looking mini.

Nice rig man, and cool vids. I like the Xray M18 series minis. I regret ever getting rid of my M18. It was a fun little car.
