If ya wanna go do something elese just solder em up, I usually use tape or a rubber band

Im in the process of setting up a soldering station so i can teach myself how to solder. I also watch the solder tutorials on youtube. I recently was educated on chargers and am learning about the esc now. What does the term "TURNS" apply to a motor. Where do I find out how many turns a motor has?Im also trying to figure out how to get to the tranny and the pinions in case i need a pinion at some point. I want to mess with the spur gear also, I figure if i experiment on the exceed and something goes wrong i wont be as upset as if it happende to my working vendetta tc or the slash or the vendetta tc when i get it, By the way does anyone know where i can find forums and stuff on cars like the detta tc. zI have not been able to find one. Im not sure i fully understand the motor breaking in process as to what i need to do it.

The term turns is a reference to how many time the strands of copper wire in a motor are wraped around the armature. A 19 double has two strands of wire wrapped 19 times around the armature. typically the fewer "turns" the more rpm the motor will run. the more rpm a motor turns usually the less torque the motor will have. So when you go down in turns you must go down in pinion gear or up in spur.
