Hey guys figured everybody has to see this, Rochester Rc near Rochester In. has reopened thier indoor racetrack. And yes it's mini friendly! Although larger scales will be raced there also they have paid special attention to make the racing surface as smooth as possible for us mini guys. and done a fine job of it. They will be racing on Saturday afternoons practice at 1:00 racing at 3:30 eastern time. The track owner is a cool dude, and is willing to let us hold a large scale mini race at his facility! If anybody is interested let me know.
I know we have some Illinois members here within driving distance of this facility, If you show up on aweekend I'm there I'll pay your first entery fee! Just to get the word out this goes for the michigan crowd as well. To take me up on the offer you must be a active member of this site, and I need to know ahead of time your coming so I'll be watching for the Pm's! Earlier this summer I found this track, they were racing outdoors and it looked like a blast, abunch of friendlies racing in the dirt, so as always I had to check out the action Brian the owner is super friendly, showed me around and took me into the barn where the indoor track has been built. Thats when I brought up the mini idea he jumped on it willingly. After driving the Merv around he was sold. I'd love to see him in the class as well I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Saturday the 14th of november is the first race of the indoor season at this track and even with my late posting of the event I'd love to see some of you there. Garunteed fattmatt and I will be there as well as oldandcool ( bastered has been a member here for a year and never posted) . So at least there will be a few of us. Check em out at rochesterrc.net

Nice track you got there man. Totally jelous but fully stoked for you. Glad to see tracks starting to reopen, Word around here is we might be getting an outdoor offroad track. Seems the SC craze might be helping add fresh blood and $$ back into the local racing scene.Good luck and keep us posted how you all do. Nice pics. Thanks for sharing.l8r,w.

Ok, it's official, eveybody with a mini off road machine needs to show up at this place at one time. The layout was awsome, people friendly, and racing was a blast.
I never thought driving a mini in the dirt could be so much fun, rooster tails, wheelies, big air, sorry I never took a pic, I will get back over there this week and shoot some film. The MERV was awsome!! twenty five guys was the total turn out. A little less than they were hopeing, yet for thier first race who could complain. And by the tranasponder sheet the mini revo was the second fastest vehicle there. Only getting beat by a 10th scale kyosho truck being wielded by a sponsored driver.
Granted we were not racing the same heat but the transponder doesn't lie.
