Ditto! I'd like to check one out too, but with the new dirt track opening I don't have the extra funds to purchase another 1/18 rig, and still be able to get an SC truck going. Maybe one of these days though.

If somebody wants to check one out and has a decent 2.4 ghz radio or AC/DC charger for trade... we could work something out.

Nice lineup you hot there. Looks like you have been buggified and truggified quite well. So are you a sponsored driver now? Looks to me you are covered with a full set of spare cars let alone parts.lol Nice Score. l8r,w.

Mike never officially named me a sponsored driver but he calls me the resident 1/18th expert and every time there's a kit revision, he sends me one to build and test. The blue one in the pic is the latest F18Pro and it's sweet. They fixed the diffs and put some more aggressive tires on it.

I had never heard of castor racing before this post was made. the kit quality looks most excellent. But it looks like a long pimped out rc18. How long is it? Is the tire size the same as the 18t? give us the scoop!

I saw some of the early plastic ones, which did look like RC18s -- but these pro-kits look to have a really extended wheelbase. Looked on their site, nothing, so does anybody know what the wheelbase and width are on these puppies?

width 174mm, wheelbase 176mm

Pro and RTR dimensions are the same, just materials are different

The OD of the tires is about the same as AE but the CR wheels are larger and the tires are lower profile.

Nice looking cars! How about some body-off shots? They seem to be high quality. I like the big shocks.

How much was the kit?

The Pro kits run $180 plus shipping. I will sell the blue one in the pics for $125. It was Pro built (by me) and is ready for electronics.

The red one in the pics is a Pro that is RTR with BL motor, ESC, Hitec HS65HB steering servo and CR 2.4 GHZ radio. It's seen about 5 races and is still in excellent shape. I'd like to get $225 for it. It will include the RTR 1200 mah battery with Dean's plugs.

Body off shot of red one:
