So as we all know I can leave nothing alone. Well it needed it since the Droop setup wasn't working for me I decided to look elsewhere. So I took the shocks off my Micro DT and stole the shafts and the cylinder bodies and decided to meld them with the ends from the MicroCrawlers stock shocks. I also used the DT shock springs. I used the DT shorter ones up front and the longer ones out back. I ordered another 2 sets so I can replace the ones I stole. And have 4 shorts and 4 longs to choose from and try out. Also I decided to change the look of the stock lid since the scale lid is still under construction. I vented the windows and trimmed a bit off the bottom.Added some carbon fuaxber panels and some stickerage. Will do for now. I am not lookin forward to painting a Micro Lid again. My DT was a real PITA.The tabletop test coarse has been fun. Will have to get around to the more perminent setup soon. I also couldn't pass up a Micro servo for it as well. Went for a Hitec HS 5065MG Mighty Micro servo. Eliminated the servo saver and went with the horn they supplied.Way better turning power and might be a bit overkill but why not.right? And lastly I built a little bit of a test coarse on my build table just for some fun. Here are a few pics.l8r,w.

Nice Servo Hitec.I couldn't pass it up. I am a sucker for pieces parts.lol :)

Here is a bit of the shock melding of components.

WrenchHead, love the Jeep body! Sorry if I missed it, but I was wondering what is the runtime on the stock battery?

Hey wrench, I've heard a lot about using mini-t rodends and ballstuds. Will rodends/ballstuds from an RC18 work on the micro? I expected them to be too large, but they're about the size of the mini-t stuff that guys are using to make longer links.

Run time on the stocker is about 6 to 8 mins. depending on servo useage and holding to the left and right sides. My Micro Lipo's are working better but still use the stocker when those are drained and awaiting charge. lol l8r,w.

Haven't tryed it jamus but will give it a looksy I got a few of those floating around here.lol Will see what I can dig up and do a comparo to see some results. I have been working on the Losi Mini Terrains I got from the LHS. First I painted them with a flecstone paint. Now I got a mini SceneOrama set for like $8. it was marked 30% off. I added some tree branches from my christmas tree cut offs. lol Here are a pic or 2. l8r,w.

Nice, can't even tell what they were, unless you tell us, haha. Very realistic course. Don't worry about the rc18 rodends. I was asking, thinking propulse is the same. I already tried it and they are not. But I was able to replace the losi balls with propulse(rc18) balls. The propulse balls have a smaller thread though and required being glued in. Good thing that at this scale, CA is better than welding.
