HYPER MINIS

Well I held out for as long as I could. When my brother in law bought one at the dirt track a couple weeks ago, and I ran it for a couple laps I knew then and there that it was time to get one of my own. Don't laugh at my paint job I had to do something with the RTR body since there are so many identical bodies at the track it sometimes is hard to tell which rig is yours and I didn't want to buy a new lid until I had beat this one up real good. So I just sprayed some blue and white Pactra on the outside and slapped a few stickers on it. Works for now, and least I know my truck from the others when it's coming down the back stretch. I've only had it at the track once so far, and it was hands down one of the most fun days of running I have ever had with an RC. No real plans for it at the moment. We just plan to run stock/spec for the time being, so only thing that will be getting changed is the radio one of these days. For all of you out there that have been saying get a Slash get a Slash you were all right, and I should have jumped on the Slash wagon long ago.

That looks pretty sweet fast. I'll be grabbing an Illuzion Truth body for mine tomorrow afternoon, and work on getting it painted this weekend. Might also be grabbing an RPM rear bumper and mud flaps just for a little added realism.

Nice rigs fellas. Can't believe I mised this one. So what is your impressions of the Slash and what is the setups being run. And how about a couple of body off pics as well fellas. Can't wait to see these 2 racers build these out as needed.lol l8r,w.

Maybe I'll see you out at AMS sometime. I'm probably going this week, right now nothing set in stone, but probably Tuesday or Thursday. I'll be there with my SC10 probably wearing a red/black body.

fingers crossed I don't break anything, I always seem to break something there everytime I go!!!

No ended up not getting a body this weekend. Needed a new power supply, a new lipo, some extra spurs, and pinions, and slapped in a 15x2 motor til I can grab a brushless system, so the body has to wait another week. We might be up there on thursday. Seems that's the evening that has worked out the most for us lately.

Wrench I'll get some more pics and set up details posted asap. Ran this thing again on carpet off road yesterday, and I gotta say my impression of the Slash is that it's an awesome rig. Very durable, a blast to run, and easy to work on. Now that we have decided to run mod instead of stock/spec there will be plenty of upgrades in the next several weeks.
