Didn't think of it until now might just have to bring up the mini-Baja the way things are going on and everythig else not working right. It was way to much for the regular course but might not be quite as bad with the oval.

Yeah right. 9400 = :burnout :remote :oops :angry

LMAO......I do believe I have been called out!!!!

I should be there this Saturday.....I have to admit big oval racing does look and sound like a hoot...I am a little worried though because this might be the straw that breaks the" I kinda want a mini slash 4x4" back!.....and if I get one, i am pretty sure my wife will break my back!

yeah, mini-slash 1/16 is kinda cool, but honestly I think they are over priced. Save your money and instead get a 1/10th scale SC truck! Then devote your M18 to the smaller track. I think you'd end up more satisfied that way.

on a side note, got bombed here by snow, heard on the news we probably got the most over night in the Ortonville/Oxford area here... not to mention I live on an umaintained private gravel road, so I'm not going anywhere for a bit. So, I've just been sitting here trying to get the old Kyosho Mini Inferno ST running better, but just can't figure it out. It's just LOUD as all heck and seems to be binding a good bit... just don't know what else to adjust? And also I think most of my batteries for it are pretty tired. Damn. Might have to look at what I need to do to the old RC18t to get it good to go if I swing up to this oval for this weekend. I think 9000kv would be ridiculous there in this rc18, haha!

I'm thinking I'm following you and seriously considering getting rid of the M18t and RC18b, And the way the M18 is working out right now that might also go. Just getting frustrated with all of it, and not having fun. Had fun with Slow's Slash so going that route in the next couple of weeks. I should have the hybred ready enough to run this weekend and working on the M18.

So you're looking at selling off your mini's for a 1/10th slash, or a 1/16th??

What problems have you had with the M18t?

Actually Plans are to get both, already have a 2wd 1/10th slash, and have plans on getting the Platinum or regular one but leaning towards Platinum edition. Will pick up the 1/16th first in the next coupleof weeks I hope.

Well broke 2 axles 2 fridays ago and have an aluminum one in it now, keeps binding on the one side and spins out whenever I slow down because of this. Diff/Diffs also need to be checked out as I think the Mamba I'm running. I haven't really ran it just a few test runs. I just don't have the time to work on it and the issues testing it as I can't get to the track until almost start time. And it seems I have the issue cleared up until I put it on the track and test it. Probably something easy. It is setp to run carpet and know how it used to run with the other owner and railed. Just frustrated and with some other things going on, just not having fun, so figure something new that I don't have to work on or very little would be best. I'm selling as a roller as I got it but could and would be willing to add everything but receiver and transmitter. If you want more info on it I can PM it to you and/or I can bring it with me Saturday.

Sucks about your issues with your M18... was just wondering, sorry I'm not interested in purchasing, was simply curious what was frustrating you so much. Similar deal with my KMIST I guess. If I ever show up to one of these HTU races and bring it I'm sure you all will laugh hard at it!! One goofy creation that is unnervingly LOUD. Unfortunately for me, it's not fast either, haha.

yeah, I think the Slash 4X4 Platinum "PE" is done, from what I read on rcshortcourse, now replaced with this "Ultimate" combobulation, which actually looks ridiculous to me for $500!!!!

I'd rather get a Jammin' SCRT10 and deck it out with the extra cash!

Well it would be fast if it ran.lol It tore up the diff in the B first but it did take a while and was still running but for some reason people were complaining how load it was. For some reason one of the drugs I have to take at times is messing with my attitude and not in a good way and doesn't help. Really wanted to drop kick the thing friday night. I was already working on and thinking about getting rid of the RC 18 stuff and already traded off the R (huge mistake now). Figure start fresh and keep the frustarted, depressed and violent attitude at bay (wife and daughter are calling me Mr Grumpy Pants right now, and avoiding me some what).

Ultimate is pretty much a cost increase to make it rtr, my only thought on that is don't need no battery will be LiPo instead and don't think that radio would be as good as a Airtronics M11 or Spektrum 3s or 3r. But I do want to switch my Radio system out from using the M11 w/FM module to a 2.4 module and extra receivers or another system.

I'm not so sure about the Jammin after hearing about how Jim's ran. But I'mnot sold on the Traxas either as I think the Traxxas stuff sits a little to high especially my regular Slash. Plus I have at least 3-4 weeks before considering getting the 1/10th one.

Gotcha! Yeah, it can be rough to have to go back to the ol' set-up table with a problem, but I try not to let those moments get at me. More or less try to look at those instances as just more time to get to know the platform and learn what needs to be done. If that doesn't work, well neither will drop-kicking it, hahaha!

Sorry, I don't know who Jim is, but what were his issues with the Jammin?? It's getting good feedback all over the place, including from owners who also have the Slash 4X4 to compare. Are you possibly thinking about the Ofna?

Here you go: http://www.hyperminis.com/ofna-hyper-10-sc-t1490.html but also heard about it in person and have seen the truck but not running. When I seen the truck it looked great and something to get until I heard about it, I need to do some more checking as I'm not really brand specific or torn to a certain one, but bang for the reasonable buck.

I usually don't have problems working in stuff, like I said my attitude doesn't help right now and nothing to fall back on, when I had the R it was always ready to go as I left it completely stock, and didn't really have much time on it. I had already thought and was going to clear outmost of my AE 1/18th stuff only need a few to run, the problems just changed my mind (plus harder to get parts at least locally) with this one and can only run a couple of vehicles and if I run the Slash and M18 don;t need anything else for the track and just collecting dust. Wll right now figure I'll keep my hybred T/R for now, the M18 and the Mini Baja but that is beach camping fun anyways and figure I'll keep the Hybred also for that purpose, the other stuff is gone and I'll just get the Slash.

Ok that is a show stopper for me now. Would at least like option to get parts in person if needed, especially critical stuff. They at least sponsor CORR racing now one of my Favorites types of racing always wished I could have a complete pre-runner and built a semi pre-runner yrs ago.
