I know that most people replace the draglink, and servo pretty quickly on their RC18's, but if you want tighter steering for about .25 then this mod is for you. You simply slide an o-ring over the stock saver ring and voila. MUCH better steering with minimal play. I forget the exact dimensions of the o-rings I use, but here is a pic to give you an idea.

What I use is a coil from a shock spring, most people have some spares or an un-use stocker lying around.
I cut one complete coil off a spring, file a small groove in the servosaver, slip the spring section into the groove - and it REALLY tightens up the servo saver. ;)

That sounds like it would work very well too. Thanks for posting that. I'm sure someone will put that tip to good use.

If you have a crunchy 8X12 bearing sitting around, you cun cut the outer race off and put that over the servo saver... accomplishes the same thing.

The O-ring is 3/8 in size, just went and picked soem up 2 thicker ones and 2 thinner. I've done the spring but seemed had soem issues with it after a while.
